Flu Fighter Tea

This tea is fantastic to drink when you have a cold or flu.   It's very warming and soothing for a cough or sore throat and can help to support your immune system.

Method

Bring 1 litre of water to the boil and add:

1 tablespoon of honey

2 teaspoons of fresh ginger grated

1 lemon sliced with skin on

1 cinnamon stick or half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder

6 cloves

1 clove of garlic

1/4 teaspoon of fresh chopped chilli

 

Continue to boil for 1 minute.  Allow to cool slightly and drink the warm tea freely throughout the day.
