Chlorophyll has so many health benefits and it is my favourite wonder food!!!

Found in every green vegetable, the greener the vegetable, the higher it will be in chlorophyll as it is the substance that makes plants appear green.  Actually all plants, even citrus fruits, contain at least some chlorophyll.   So why is it so good for you?   Chlorophyll is a blood cleanser; it keeps our blood clean and healthy which helps prevent disease and illness.  It also stops bacterial growth of yeast and fungi in the digestive tract so is effective in preventing Candida overgrowth (thrush) which is one of the biggest health concerns today due to our diets so high in yeast and sugars, as well as many medications which upset our bacteria balance in the digestive tract allowing Candida to grow easier.  It also has anti-inflammatory action and when taken as a powder can be used to treat a sore throat, gingivitis, stomach and intestinal inflammation and ulcers, all skin inflammations, arthritis and pancreatitis.

In addition, chlorophyll benefits Anemic conditions, reduces high blood pressure, strengthens the intestines, relieves nervousness, and serves as a mild diuretic.  Chlorophyll has a very simular molecular structure to haemoglobin (red blood cells) which is why it extremely good at treating Anemia.

Some examples of some foods that are very high in Chlorophyll are:

Micro-Algea (Spirulina) which can be taken in a supplement or as a powder, wheat-grass and barley grass, broccoli, spinach, green beans, peas, and asparagus just to name a few.

Remember that every green food has helpful amounts of chlorophyll and can be used for building blood, cleansing, and containing the growth of unhealthy bacteria in the gut.  So just by keeping them in your diet your body will be better for it.
